For a client dinner, give people a table where they can hear each other. For a group with different appetites, leave room to browse. And when the team needs to stay close to a meeting, plan the meal around that room. Choosing the format first makes the restaurant and delivery decisions much easier.
We’d keep a busy convention evening around International Drive, then give Audubon Park, Winter Garden or Winter Park a separate outing when there’s time to enjoy it. Below are a few ways to make those plans work, from private dining and neighborhood food halls to a boat tour and practical OCCC support. There’s also a date worth catching now: Winter Park’s 2026 Autumn Art Festival takes place in November.
Pointe Orlando: give the shared meal its own space
If the point of dinner is to talk, start with the room. Maggiano’s at Pointe Orlando, at 9101 International Drive, has private dining rooms and lunch and dinner event menus. It is an option to explore for a team dinner, rehearsal gathering or client meal when bringing everyone together matters more than building a busy night out. Its floor-plan link helps you picture the setup before discussing a booking.
A private room is worth considering when dinner includes a presentation or remarks. For a small team catching up, an ordinary restaurant table may be all you need.
The same location has pickup and delivery catering, including party-sized pans. That is another option for an approved hotel meeting room or off-site gathering. Settle the receiving venue’s food rules before placing the order, and include the restaurant’s minimums, fees and timing in the plan. If the evening already includes plenty of movement, staying for dinner can give everyone a welcome chance to settle in.
ICON Park: make an evening around one meeting point
For an evening that might continue after dinner, ICON Park gives the group several ways to stay in one area. At 8375 International Drive, it combines restaurants including Ole Red, Tin Roof and Brother Jimmy’s with attractions and event spaces. A casual dinner can center on one restaurant; a larger hosted gathering can be arranged through the events team, using indoor venues or outdoor spaces such as The Lawn and Art Way.
Choose one named restaurant as the meeting point, especially if people finish work at different times. Keep the attraction afterward optional. That lets guests who want an early night enjoy dinner without signing up for a longer evening, while everyone else can continue together.
Pointe Orlando and ICON Park both bring dining and entertainment into one district. Use that variety to find the right fit, rather than squeezing several venues into the same night. For a hosted outdoor reception, agree on a weather alternative with the venue. For an informal meetup, an indoor starting point keeps the arrival straightforward.
Audubon Park: food-hall browsing or a more intimate gathering
For a relaxed food outing with room to browse, head to East End Market at 3201 Corrine Drive in Audubon Park. The market hall is open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m.–9 p.m.; and Sunday, 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Eastern Time. Individual merchants keep their own hours, so choose your food stop before planning around a late arrival.
This format suits friends or a small social group who want to follow different appetites. Let people order at their own pace and enjoy the food-and-maker setting. For a working lunch where everyone needs to sit down and start together, a reserved room offers more control over the timing. If you’re coming from the convention district, give the outing enough time to feel like a break.
East End also has private-event spaces managed by The Neighbors. The upstairs Audubon Room seats 20–30, with Courtyard and Garden options for larger groups. Those are leads for a planned gathering with its own seating and catering arrangements, rather than trying to turn a casual market visit into a reserved event.
Winter Garden: follow the food vendors’ hours
When everyone wants something different, Plant Street Market is a good option for an unhurried meal in Winter Garden. At 426 West Plant Street, you can choose among Michael’s Ali Coal Fired Pizza, Empanadas & Co., BENTO Sushi + Poke and JAM Hot Chicken. Make the market the outing and let people find the food they feel like eating.
Choose the meal time around the vendor you want to visit. Sunday hours for Michael’s Ali are 11 a.m.–8 p.m., and Empanadas & Co. serves from 11 a.m.–9 p.m., Eastern Time. Other merchants follow different schedules. Crooked Can can be part of the visit, but the brewery’s hours should not be used as the closing time for every food counter.
If you’re staying in Clermont or elsewhere west of Orlando, a Winter Garden outing can give that part of the day a clear destination. There is no need to add another cross-region dinner trip just to keep the schedule full. For a larger gathering that needs reserved space, use the venue’s event contact; public tables should stay part of a casual visit unless an arrangement is confirmed.
Winter Park: build a local break around the water
For a quieter break together, consider an hour on Winter Park’s lakes and canals. Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour leaves from 312 East Morse Boulevard, with hourly departures from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. Eastern Time. The final tour leaves at 4 p.m. It gives the outing a shared activity before everyone settles in for a meal.
Give this a genuine free half-day if you’re coming from the convention district. The boat ride lasts an hour, but travel, arrival and the move to your next stop also need time. Putting it between tightly spaced appointments would leave less room to enjoy the water or linger over lunch afterward.
For a group that wants to ride together, settle the departure with the operator before booking the rest of the day around it. The operator can address space, access needs and weather conditions for the visit. A little flexibility in the meal time makes a changed departure easier to absorb. This is a good fit when the goal is simply to spend time together, without putting on a full evening event.
Calendar note: the Autumn Art Festival is in November
Put November 14–15 on the calendar for the 2026 Winter Park Autumn Art Festival. The Saturday and Sunday event runs from 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time each day in Central Park along Park Avenue, at 251 South Park Avenue. General admission is free.
The juried festival features Florida artists and live entertainment. If you remember an October trip from an earlier year, use these November dates for the 2026 visit. The October 10–11 weekend is not this year’s festival weekend.
For a family reunion or visiting team extending a November stay, pair the art browsing with a separately confirmed lunch or dinner. Give the meal a defined time and let the festival visit stay open-ended. Guests can explore at different speeds, spend longer with work they like and still know when everyone will come back together.
At the OCCC: match the errand to the right service
Missing handouts or a replacement sign? FedEx Office at the OCCC handles printing, copying, binding, signs and parcel services; its West Concourse Print and Ship Center is near Hall C. Start there for production or shipping questions. Once an item is finished and its pickup location is confirmed, the collection can be arranged around the team’s schedule.
Confirm that printing is finished before sending someone to collect it, especially if the team is working in another building. For a delivered parcel, identify where it is being held and who can receive it at the next stop. A precise, approved handoff location keeps a simple errand from interrupting the people working the booth.
For meals on the convention campus, start with Sodexo Live!, the OCCC’s food-and-beverage service partner, and its exhibitor-catering resources. Venue and show-management rules determine what can be brought in and where a delivery can go. An off-site dinner can be arranged around the restaurant; booth catering needs the show’s approved route. Getting that part settled early leaves more room for the rest of the visit.
